Juju Smith-Schuster Scout Report

Image
John "Juju" Smith-Schuster is a 6ft2 220lbs wide receiver from USC. He declared for the NFL draft after 3 years in college. This past season he was a major contributor to USC's great year (they finished 9-3) and ended the season with a win over Penn State (49-52) to claim the Rose Bowl. Juju looks a lot like a tight end so don't rule out a possible position change in the future. The average NFL tight end is 6ft3 240lbs, Smith is just a foot shorter and a bit smiller. This tight end class is, however, very good and probably the most versatile yet with a lot of good blocking TEs coming out so Juju might just end up being used as a tight end every now and then dependind on the possible missmatch, it's always good to have a flexible player of the field. Often compared to Aquan Boldin by NFL media because of his great catching ability, height and poor speed Juju was seen as first round talent but after people dove into his tape and saw some of his flaws he fel...

Budda Baker - An In-Depth Scouting Report

Image
READ : I know some of you have issues watching the highlights so I compiled them and posted them on YouTube :  https://youtu.be/SK3zlCMNcwA Hey guys I'm back and today I present to you my first in depth(ish) scout report on Budda Baker, I have (wayyy) more videos and some more pictures. I'll try to tell you guys what formations fit him and once again I'd like to thank @BendixenNFL for helping me organise my thoughs and ideas! Budda Baker is 5ft10 192lb meaning he's small and not as strong as most safeties in this draft, for example Malik Hooker is 6ft2 205lb making him more of a target to some teams than Baker, it's rumored that Hooker will go in the 1st round (probably top 15-25) while Baker is seen more as a second option, obviously they're both great athletes but how do they fare on the field? Well, I don't know about Hooker, yet ;). But I can tell you about Baker! Budda played all 14 college games and racked up a total of 71 tackles (49 solo,...

Jabril Peppers - My first scouting report

Image
Before I get this started I want to thank Magnus Bendixen (@BendixenNFL) if it wasn't for you bro I wouldn't be writing this :) Alright let's get on with it!  First as an overall view I want to give you guys Jabril's weaknesses and Strengths. Strengths : He's good in the return game ; Has an explosive closing speed (surprised he didn't get more sacks) ; He adjusts well to changes on plays ; Very good tackling (incredibly important) ; Nice feet to run away from players trying to block him (once they hold him he's done though) ; Can play anywhere. Weaknesses   Definitely small for a linebacker ; Not strong enough to run away from blockers ; Bad at anticipating the pass (he's better at man defence) ; Needs to work on his pursuit.  His season stats :                                    His stats show little of his work. With only one inter...
